Sentinel Ammo & Horizontal tip and tricks!

To caotico8:

Horizontal for any senti:
- Add CPU upgrade to senti.
- Add Scan Limit upgrade.
- Click to scan limit at right top window and press to "configuration" button in the lower right window.
- Change sliders and save it.
- Enjoy.

Vertical for Multimortal only:
- Upgrade senti to Multimortal.
- Click to "Multimortal" sign at right top window.
- Press "configuration" button.
- Change sliders and save it.
- Here you also can change the ammo type.
- Enjoy.

Do you know you can share sentinel parts with another player?
To do so you must select senti deployer and use "weapon drop" button. You will drop a box of senti parts. At least you can drop 10. If you have more - max quantity will drop. For example if you have 118 first you will drop 100, then 10 and 8 you can not drop at all.

I did read about that a while ago... but i never got it to work, maybe i been doing something wrong. Thanks for reminding me, i will check it out.

Im a bit in a dubio to make a new server with Downtown in it or not. And if yes, what version sents should i use.... Tbe most recent ones or the VolGoDom-Sent server version.

Did u notice they removed downtown from the maplist?

I will check on my home computer how I did a proper binding for weapon drop function.
And moreover - you can drop spider mine trap, shaped charge and items like these. But I encountered a problem. When you drop these you can't use other weapon until somebody picks your dropped item and uses it.

Almost everyone knows that MOG senti beats Leviathan vehicle. Not when it is already anchored to the ground, but still... instant incapacitation.
Anti tank multi mortar is good against tank.
But what is best against Titan?

Properly configured flamethrower can strike redeemer missile with almost 100% chance.

Oh mostly i use the minigun sent for takin down a deemer! :evil: love ur tips man!

The other day i was messing around with the internal mod settings, compared to the latest version this one from VolGoDom is more featured. Strange as it is quite a bit older. Seems like the developer downgraded it to get rid of bugs (or work hehehe).

Minigun is good, but flamethrower is much better!
1) Flamethrower creates wide cloud of fire - no need to aim good, no need to track good. Deemer missile has very low HP - damage from flame is enough
2) Flame bounces off walls. In a good spot flamethrower can fill a room with fire. This means zero chance for deemer missile.

Not for the senti...
AVRIL tactics tips:
1) Try not to use tracking beam. Compromizes your position.
2) Trick your opponent. Soot avril rocket. Let it fly straight for some time. Then lock your target into crosshair, but NOT USE tracker beam! Thr rocket will turn and will go to target. In some cases you can create an illusion the attack is coming from behind, but in fact you will in front of your opponent.
3) Paladin shield. Same principle. Shoot rocket above Paladin's shield and let it fly by Paladin. Then lock on Paladin. The rocket will strike paladin from behind. Skilled player can rotate shild or use fire-at-shield tactics to destroy your missile... but not many players are THAT skilled ;)

Kamikaze senti.
If you need to break really hard defence.
Build a senti on a small fast vehicle like manta. Upgrade self destruct - mandatory. Optionally you really should built active protection system and as many armour as you can. Active protection system can destroy AVRIL missile before it hits your manta. Armour will keep senti alive if manta is destroyed.
Fly into enemy defence. Try to get close to node or heavy protected senti. Try to do max damage from manta and leave your bomb-senti as near to target as possible. If your senti will ive for some time - good it will make some additional damage. The real deal comes when it got destroyed and exploded. Can wipe out node or armoured senti.

Another kamikaze. Take a shaped charge. Fly manta over Goliath. Jump on the top of the Goliath and set the charge. Skilled player can abandon Goliath and stay alive, keep relics. Bot Goliath will be destroyed anyway.

i just implemented the throwweapon in my keybind script file, thanks... i was missing that.

Lex have you ever played XMP for.Unreal?
